locomotives pages though the valve gear and cylinders look a little
different.. Below: Saigon Station in 1881 Below: Hue Station

ABOUT
THIS SITE This
website is an attempt to present a collection of information and images
of trains and railways in Vietnam.
Website News...This is not the easiest task in the world as Vietnamese is not my first language (or any language for that matter) so I have to rely on English language data, and 'Google' Translations. The translations are often very odd so my apologies to those who wrote in the original Vietnamese. Surprisingly since I started late last year (2009) I've collected quite a bit of data and quite a few photos, though there are some ommissions. How long it will take me to get it all up online I don't know. So please be patient. February

This
website was originally setup in late 2009, but because of various other
activities (mainly setting up my modelling website) has not progressed
much. Hopefully this is about to
change. I hope to have the site operating properly in the next few
days, so wish me luck!

There is still a long way to go to get all the material up on the site. I'm concentrating on locomotive data at the moment. David
